Cranebrook Community Health Centre - Community Child and Family Health Service

Provides general counselling to individuals, children and families. Priority is given to domestic violence, child abuse, low risk suicide, recent trauma and postnatal depression. Emphasis is on brief intervention. Services available at the Cranebrook, Penrith, St Mary's, St Clair, Springwood and Katoomba Community Health Centres.

Penrith Suicide Bereavement Support Group

 A support group for families bereaved by the loss of a loved one to suicide.

 The Network is an independent community based committee working to raise awareness, provide information, and helping to reduce the impact of suicide in the community.

Mental Health Service (Child and Adolescent)

Provides assessment and therapy services for children, adolescents and families referred by other services for secondary specialist intervention. Early intervention for children who have parents with a mental illness, young people with psychotic disorders, and adolescent depression and anxiety.

 Provides support and advice for parents of children aged 0-3 years experiencing difficulties with feeding, sleeping and behavioural issues and provides support for women with perinatal mental health issues
