Cawarra Women's Refuge

Provides crisis accommodation primarily, but not exclusively for Aboriginal women with children, escaping domestic violence. All workers are Aboriginal. Length of stay depends on need. Cannot accept boys aged 12+.

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm. Calls diverted to on call case worker after hours

Penrith Women's Refuge Inc

 Provides crisis accommodation, referral, crisis counselling and support to women and dependent children escaping domestic violence. Also provides information and referrals on housing, legal issues, welfare, health and children referrals.

Penrith Women’s Resource and Drop-In Centre

Information on domestic violence, support to women and children experiencing or escaping domestic violence. Referral and groups run on D/V and a social/interest group.

Penrith Women's Health Centre

 Provides a broad range of women's health services including women's health clinic & complementary therapies (naturopathy, acupuncture, massage), counselling, 6 monthly group work program, library, information and referral.

The women's health clinic, naturopathy and acupuncture services can include sexual and reproductive health advice and referral. Free legal advice by a solicitor from Women's Legal Services.

Pregnancy

Nepean Young Pregnancy Support

A group for young women who are pregnant or about to give birth.

The group meets Tuesday mornings of the school term and has guest speakers on topics relevant to young people. This group is free to attend and you are welcome to bring family, friend, parent, support person or your partner.

Where: Meetings held at The Warehouse Youth Health Centre, 13 Reserve St, Penrith

Time: 10am - 12pm

Project Elizabeth

Provides counselling and support for women who are pregnant, parents who are in need of support with children 0-3 years, family or friends of a woman who is pregnant who they have concerns about, grief issues from a past pregnancy and pregnancy choices.
