 The service aims to assist families to deal with drug issues in a way that strengthens relationships and achieves positive outcomes.Provide counselling, support groups, information and referral, resource kit for families.

Counselling

The Adolescent and Family Counselling Service

Provides family therapy and counselling to adolescents and their families who are experiencing a range of relationship difficulties. Goal is effective reconciliation between the young person and their family, leading to family restoration where this is acceptable for both parties, or to some acceptable and appropriate alternative.

Eligibility: From 12 to 18 years. Young people and/or their families

Fees: By Donation. Minimum $20, Maximum $60 per session

Hours: Mon-Thu 8:30am-6pm. After hours by appointment

 Blue Mountains Family Support Service

 Emergency financial help, counselling and advice on how to make ends meet.

Drop in hours: Mon & Tues 9.30am-4pm, Thurs 10.30am-4pm.

Gateway Family Services

Counselling for young people and their families, plus emergency help with food and money if you're living independently. They also run a supported playgroup for young parents from 10am-12pm every Wednesday during school term.
