Provides emergency relief (food, electricity, water, boards vouchers, etc) to residents of the Hawkesbury. Referrals and information.

JC4U Inc

JC4U Inc. is a food van ministry committed to helping poor, disadvantaged and homeless persons.

We have served approximately 1500 meals and given out thousands of items of clothing and blankets in the last twelve months.

Operates twice weekly Hawkesbury and Parramatta areas.

Loneliness, addictions, hopelessness, mental health issues, homelessness and relationship breakdowns, these are some of the problems that the people we reach out to are dealing with.

Information referral for Hawkesbury women in housing/accommodation need emergency housing, tenancy problems.

Youth

Eddy’s Out West- Youth Homelessness Service

The Youth Homelessness Service assists young people up to the age of 25 in the Hawkesbury, Penrith and Blacktown LGA’s.  The Service has two components; case management and accommodation.

Early Intervention Case Management:  For young people at risk of becoming homeless. Post Crisis Case Management:  For young people who have experienced homelessness.

The Service has three accommodation options; Crisis Supported Accommodation (Bidwill Unit): The Bidwill Unit is a 24 hour supervised crisis accommodation service for young people aged 15-18 years.

 Transitional Accommodation (Blacktown Unit): The Blacktown Unit provides supported accommodation and focuses on providing young people with the living skills they need to move to independent living. 

 Supported Independent Accommodation: This service is for young people who require some case management assistance but are able to live independently.

McGraths Hill Youth Project

Youth drop-in service for 12-18 year olds. McGraths Hill Community Centre (Behind shops)

 Hours: Tuesday and Thursday 3pm-6pm. Volunteers accepted. Disabled access.
